.....annnnd I'm back

Well, almost. I haven't had wine or ice cream bars in like four days. More importantly, I haven't craved wine or ice cream bars in four days. Yay! I think I'm off the addiction. Also, I set up my weekly workouts for the next couple of months and will start up again with the running coach November 1. And I'm excited about it!!! Lastly, I had a swim today which I missed, which is not good. However, I do feel guilty about it so that's a good sign! (for those of you who refuse to feel guilty about missing workouts - spare me. Right now I need to feel guilty.) By the end of the week, I'll be a lean mean workout machine again....and I actually can't wait!! Plus my hubby leaves in a week or so and for those of you who have been following me long enough know that means I have nothing better to do with my time than workout and blog. Lucky you :) Happy Monday.

welcome back! I am delaying my return for at least another week, I think. :)

Sorry about the missed workout, but I understand that sometimes one does need to feel guilty about that! (And sometimes one doesn't - it's all about knowing oneself, right?)

I hope you have a good week!

Don't feel guilty about missing workouts...just don't. You haven't been craving wine? What's up with that girl? I just learned that red wine is a really good natural blood thinner; I'm totally using that as an excuse to drink copius amounts. Yeah for wine!

Oh and happy 2nd Anniversay! I enjoyed your pics from the post below; you were a beautiful bride!

Wish I didn't crave ice cream! Haha :) I always feel guilty about missed workouts too... think that's kinda a good sign tho!! So sad your hubby leaves again soon:( I have so much respect for you, and all military wives! My BFF's hubby is in the navy so I see firsthand how hard it is on her. Ya'll are so tough!

All recovered and ready to go! Nice! Use the guilt to get you back in the swing of things! Nothing wrong with that, since you, not the guilt are in charge:) As far as the icecream bars, something must happen after the marathon, but I, too, have been having LOTS of chocolate cake lately...fuel for future runs, no?

Thanks for the comments. I do basically eat mediterrianianISH and do eat the beans. Of course, I do have a BAD sweet tooth which throws me off from time to time.

Anyway, we are both getting back on track. Yay for other bloggers who are trying to "stay right" through the holidays. Give us all strength!

a friend of mine shared an idea for guilt free ice cream...frozen bananas in the food processor makes them creamy and delish. She tops them with chocolate chips, or coconut. Might be worth a shot since you're getting back on track!

Sorry hubs is getting ready to leave again:(
I hate the guilt of a missed workout. It nags on me until I fall asleep in the chair b/c I'm so tired.

It's ok to take some time off after a marathon and just let go for awhile! In fact, I think it's a good thing...as long as you come back. ;)

I need that guilt too. Eventually I get pissed off enough at myself to peel my ass off the couch and actually do something about it.

No mo' ice cream bars? :(

I had to visit you again and say THANKS...you are the one real gal who admitted that we all wear masks and that it's so normal!!!!! So true. Thanks for being real, I get that from you every time! Is that a mask though? Ha.
Hope you're doing okay without your wine, that's just crazy girl.
