Back to normal....we'll sortof

Sorry I've been totally absent. Guess what. Hubby's home! He got home Friday. Life just makes more sense when he's home. Probably wont be getting around to do much social networking for a week or so.....I'm barely getting in my workouts as it is. I just (un)officially made this recovery week. Sorry peeps. Bear with me. I'll be back to a routine in a little while. In other exciting news - I got an iPhone. I LOVE it. I'm totally wondering why there are still people out there without this little handheld piece of goodness. And wtf took me so long? I am shocked by the myriad of apps available. Crazy. So........, which ones do I need? :) I am looking for a case as well. Anybody have a good recommendation? I feel like a tool asking for advice just after I told you I was blowing you off for a few more days, but I know the iPhone cult wont let me down.

If you get any good case suggestions, let me know! I had one that I loved (it was really just a leather sleeve with a mesh bottom so you could hear the speaker) but I lost it. I couldn't find a decent replacement so now I'm stuck with one I don't like :-(

That's great the hubs is home, have fun!!!

No iphone for me, so can't help you there. Although I know they have an app that counts your calories for you, which might be helpful for your weight loss goal...

The iPhone is AMAZING!! You will love it. I just got mine this summer and I am still wondering why I went w/o for so long. (I was with Verzion before though and personally think they have better service but I can settle for AT&Ts service for the phone.)

Umm, I don't really have any cool apps - facebook, Twitter, Words with Friends is fun if you know others with an iPhone, umm, Drunk Texts from Last Night is great for a laugh. I like the "Lose It" app to track what I eat. Oh, and you can get the Amazon Kindle for free with the Amazon Kindle app and read on the go.

Yay, for the hubby being home. Life does just make more sense when you are together.

I have the palm pixie but I find that a LOT of the apps and more in general-- the phones-- are very similar.

You need:
"Where"-great app, helps you in in unfamiliar areas
"Fandango"- Movie sched in the palm of your hand
"Coin Flip"- for those tough decision.
I know everybody loves Pandora, or similar apps, but I use my Ipod.

mm... that's it for now :)

Best iPhone app ever is Google Maps. It is almost scary how cool it is. But that is an easy one.

I have a Blackberry (wife has an iPhone). I liked it so much I got an iTouch (which is like an iPhone sans phone, but will work around the house on a WiFi connection.

Very cool that hubby is home...and very funny indeed that he's the one I ran into at Costco in Brossard, Québec ;) ...or someone who thinks just like him :)

I just asked if the hubs was back on FB. No need to answer as I see he is. Yippeeee!

I don't have an iphone b/c I LOVE Verizon. If they offered it w/ that service I'd consider it. Until then, it's a Blackberry for me.

Enjoy the downtime....and time w/ hubs. We'll catch ya later!
