Eating, Sleeping, Breathing Yoga

I leave in a few days for my yoga retreat. I cannot wait!

It’s located on Whidbey Island and last March was voted one of the 23 best coastal yoga retreats. I got an email asking if I preferred a “quite room”. Um, no. That’s my idea of torture. Nervous about having to share a room. I hope they understand about my morning poops. And what if I have a snorer?

I’m excited for the food! Not excited that it sounds like the lodge is vegetarian (the chefs also cater on the island and their catering menu features some pretty delicious proteins), but I’m open to it all.

Here is the schedule of events:

Friday
3:00 – 4:00 Check-in
4:30 - 6:00 Intention Circle and Asana Practice
6:30 – 7:30 Dinner
8:00 – 9:00 Evening Program

Saturday
7:00-8:00 Meditation/Walk (optional)
8:00 – 10:00 Breakfast
10:30 - 12:00 Yoga
1 – 2  Lunch
2 - 4:00 Free Time
4:30 - 6:30 Yoga – an in depth look
6:30 - 8 Dinner
8:00 Evening Program

Sunday
7:00 - 8:00 Meditation/Walk (optional)
8:00 - 9:30 Breakfast
9:30 - 11:00 Asana Practice
11:00 – 12 Closing Circle
12 – Grab sack lunch and head into town!

Special shout out to Meg and Aron! Have a GREAT race girls!!

I really want to do a yoga retreat at some point. I may have to stop saying "some point" and just sign up for one already!

That sounds awesome. Have fun.

I can't imagine anything more relaxing than a yoga weekend. I think that may be the definition of relaxing in the dictionary. Enjoy your weekend.

That sounds awesome! I spent a week on Whidbey Island on family vacation years and years ago and I loved it there- sounds like the perfect place for a yoga retreat!
Enjoy.

I was just looking up that yoga lodge & think I'm going to do a retreat, too (although in June - I'm not a stalker!). I'll be curious to hear about your experience when you return!
