I’m registered to be a part of a team for the Northwest Passage of the Ragnar Relay. Something a group of my girlfriends and I really wanted do. Our team name is SOUL SISTERS. Which I love.

It’s on July 22-23. Sounds like it’s far away, but I still haven't run more than a mile in several months. I don’t think the legs have been assigned amongst us yet. My brain wants to get the easiest leg (it’s only 11 miles), but my pride wants something more challenging.
I suppose it’s time to man up and start running.
Edited to add later: I just found out they already assigned the legs and I did in fact get the easiest one. I’m disappointed but it’s probably for the better.

What a great plan! I am sure you will be ready in time. I love the name for your team btw!
Yep, man up! It does help to have such a fun goal...and the Soul Sisters group doesn't hurt either! Sounds like a lot of motivation, lucky girl!
You definitely want the easy leg for now, and once you rock that, it's Balls to the Walls Baby : )
I have always seen blog posts about Ragnar Relays and they look like so much FUN! I'm kind of jealous...but I can't wait to hear about it!
OOh! Have fun! I would LOVE to do a Ragnar at some point!
FUN!!!!
You'll have a blast. Go hard or go home;)
What a fun goal! You are going to have a blast...I love the name Soul Sisters :)
Sounds super fun! Those relays ARE a blast, especially with just women.
Also, has Amy told you about this dry needling treatment she got done for her IT band problems? Could be worth a shot for your leg problems...
P.S. Have I mentioned how happy I am that you have returned to blogland?!?!
Yes, this is exactly what you need to get some motivation for running! It is going to be fun! Love, love the name!
One of these years I really want to do a relay.
Yours is on my birthday weekend!
