Bullets

  • I just realized that on my last post I missed a word in the opening paragraph that is a little embarrassing. It read, “I have so many good things to say about this [yoga retreat] my writing skills will give it justice.” but what I meant to say was, “I have so many good things to say about this my writing skills will NOT give it justice.” Big difference, no?

  • I just colored my hair dark. I mean, I didn’t color it, the girl at my salon did. She was new (new to me. my regular girl left). I gave her a brief description of what I wanted and told her to take creative liberties. I have no picture, but I will get you one soon

  • HUBBY COMES HOME IN TWO DAYS!! For new readers, he has been gone for about 2.5 months so yeah, this is big and exciting news.

  • I have been running a couple of times a week and it’s been pain free, except for one really weird thing. Every once in a while while I’m NOT running I get a sharp shooting pain in my IT band. The one that had me sidelined for the last several months. I’ve never experienced that before. It’s always been while running. Anybody have any ideas of what it could be?

Yay! Your hubby is coming home. That is exciting.

I don't know why you would have random shooting pain in your ITB. Did you do something unusual before it happened?

huh, that shooting pain is weird. Maybe your leg is just getting acclimated to running again.

YAY for your husband coming home!!!! When you come up for air (wink wink) post a photo of your hair. : )

Loved your yoga retreat! Awesome! Yikes about the ITB, lets hope it is nothing. When I had issues with it, about 3 years ago, I would get twinges when walking or out of the blue. Stretch and foam it away. And have fun with the hubs!

Must see the hair.

Yeah for the return of the hubs.

So strange about the random pains but I'm glad you can run again!

Hahaha! You are so humble. :-)

Whoo hoo for your husband coming home! I can't imagine having my husband gone for so long! You are such a strong woman!

I hate that you are having pain.

Yay for hubby coming home and running pain free!

I absolutely HATE the IT band. It's good for nothing but causing pain. Get lost, IT band, would ya?!?!

Glad to hear he is coming home!

I get random shooting pains every so often and I figure it is my body's way of letting me know it is still there.

Hmmm, I don't have any ideas about the pain and that sounds frustrating. But at least you're running again!

Yay for Chris to come home! It's been a long one!
