Oh Yeah - I went there....

Saturday night I went to a bachelorette party........

If you ever get the opportunity - DO IT!! I was so fun. My legs were so sore the next day and I was like, "why are my legs so sore, I only ran 8 miles yesterday" and then I realized. I rode a frekin' mechanical bull and held on for dear life with my legs. Now I understand why bull riders walk so funny. Damn.

************

Project Suck - It: Week 1 went down without a hitch. The only problem - does anyone know how to retrieve Garmin data when it wont automatically download to connectgarmin.com? I did a hill workout Thursday, but for some reason it wont download. I even tried to "force" it to sync with my computer but nothing. Sometimes when that happens it usually gets downloaded with my next workout, but that didn't happen. It's driving me nuts.

Week 1 total miles: 26

Ahhhhh, I was just wondering that about my Garmin. Tried to download info last week but the site was under construction and now it won't download it. Let me know if you figure it out (though I forgot all about forcing it....going to try tonight).

So funny, I have ridden a mechanical bull before. And since when is running 8 miles "only 8" Great job!

I'm a total Garmintard, no help at all!

NOW that's how I roll, I love it! At least someone got the pictures to prove it. Nice job riding the bull.

That looks like FUN!

I haven't a clue about Garmin, whenever mine has issues I give it to Mr. Pi. I'm no techie!

When are you coming down? You'll be right at home in Holy Hills land!

Looks like fun!! Wish I could help you but all I know about my Garmin is how to turn it on, start it, and charge it!

I think I used to know how to do that w/ a Garmin but it's been so long I've forgotten. BUT I do know tht the people who work for Garmin are some of my favorite people on the planet (i.e. they listen to what the problem is and help you and they do it in a way that is understandable to the common person). Call them-they'll walk you through it and be nice about it.

LOL at the bull.

Your husband sounds like he has an amazing job and he is lucky to have such a supportive wife too :).

Yes yes yes. mechanical bulls are the best thing ever. Specially when you've had a few drinks!! I just laugh the whole time!!

Garmin? I'm lucky that I know how to turn mine on :) Good luck with that!

A girlfriend of mine works for Garmin's corp office in Kansas City. She's the one who puts together all of the cool print ads :)

Looks like awesome fun! I'd so get tossed in a millisecond, though :)

I don't let my Garmin get on-line. Control freak that I am, I hardcode all my stuff into Buckeyeoutdoors.
